I needed a smaller keyboard for work as I don't have much space on my desk, so this fits the bill. I've got experience with these Minilas as I bought one (with MX Browns) about 10 years ago, and whilst I lost it to an ex after I moved out, as far as I know it's still working, so the build quality is good.

This time around I tried MX Blacks because a) I haven't tried them before and b) it was the only switch choice in stock. It turns out that I love them to the point that I'm looking to switch other keyboards I own to the same switch. I tend to type with a bit of force, so they work great for me. I have added a set of o-rings to quieten down the 'bottoming out' clatter, and it's really quiet now.

Would recommend if you're looking for a well-built but not stupidly flashy pre-built keyboard. If I had to complain about anything, perhaps it would be the lack of media keys that have been standard over the last ten years since I bought my last one of these, but it's not a deal-breaker. So if you're questioning the purchase; I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Lovely keyboard. Perfect size, and the MX Black keys are fantastic! Nice and silent but have a very solid feel. I use it for gaming and programming, but I feel it would suit most people looking for a tidy keyboard.

It is a nice keyboard with soft key with nice sound

Coming from a full-sized Filco wanting to claim more mouse room for gaming, I'm glad to say the Minila delivers complete performance in a reduced footprint. I've tried a few mini60% boards before and not found an alt-layer layout that works for me until now. The Minila just seems to make sense, yes there is an adjustment period on a smaller keyboard, but after a couple of days I was completely at home using the RH Fn movement block and Fn cursors.

Perfect build quality as with any Filco.

My only complaints are missing the numpad for data entry and special characters - WASD Fn cursors would've left enough room for an alt-layer numpad, and the keycapsprinting are not very durable and notoriously difficult to replace - PBT please Diatec!

Great mini keyboard to clear some space on a desktop of any size first of all.
Good place to start as it's a product for the sole purpose of typing on a keyboard, with no distractions,no cumbersome software to bloat out your OS!
Works out of the box,two red LED's start the process so don't be alarmed, it's initializing with the computer.
Keys have longer travel as cherry blacks do,but you really feel like you're engaged in every letter and final word.
Good price deal at this time, and there's still a few surprise's for you to discover,if you opt for this board. I'm on Linux for the record, get a Tux key cap to replace the Windows key,to complete it!

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I can safely say that it has been an absolute joy to type and play video games on. Despite the unusual layout, I didn't find it too difficult to adapt to after a week or so. The fact there was no additional software to download, makes this board more convenient for me as I hate having lots of different programs running in the background on my computer at one time.

I was unsure whether go for Cherry Reds or Blacks at first, but in the end I settled on the Black switches as I am a bit heavy handed so they feel just right for me. Combine that with the build quality of the Minila, and I feel like typing on it all day.

Service was quick and kept me up to date so no complaints there.

In summary, a very solid and satisfying keyboard to use.
