UK Filco Majestouch-2, MX Blue Click Keyboard

The Filco Majestouch-2 that we purchased is an excellent quality keyboard without being overly expensive, great value for money supplied with super support. This purchase was to replace exactly the same keyboard I'd bought many years ago and eventually after years of very heavy daily use programming the microswitches had started to die.

Would recommend these keyboards to anyone, I find the click of the blue microswitches deliberate and satisfying. They are well built, have a good weight and last for years.

I am a software engineer by profession and do a lot of typing as a consequence. I was looking to replace my existing membrane that I purchased with my PC, as it was starting to feel worn out due to the heavy use it had been subjected to since I started working from home in March.

This is a very good, robust keyboard and is much more enjoyable to type on than my previous model. I appreciate the tactile feedback along with the clicky, typewriter-like sound that is much like the keyboards I used in the 1990s. My fingers feel less fatigued when using this keyboard and the build quality suggests this is a solid investment.

The service I received from the Keyboard Company has been excellent. I was kept informed about my delivery throughout the process and received the item very quickly. When I return to working in the office, I intend to buy the quieter but still tactile brown-switch Filco keyboard from them again.

Bought the majestouch with MX blue switches as a replacement to my 25 year old IBM model M, the keyboard is generally of excellent quality and construction and the typing feel and feedback is excellent from this keyboard.

The only downside of note is that the rubber from the feet used to tilt the keyboard is only clipped into place, and keeps falling off of the left foot, but this doesn't affect function much, and once the warranty is up, this will be easily fixed with a spot of epoxy

This is the second filco keyboard I ordered from them, we needed an extra one in the corona virus lockdown period. I didn't experience any delay or issues with the order even the whole world has slowed down.

My all-time favourite keyboard is an original IBM which I borrowed for a couple of years and have since had to return. My second favourite was a Cherry branded board which belonged to a previous employer and had genuine individual cherry switches.
The Filco (with cherry blue switches) isn't quite as tactile as the IBM but is a very good substitute (and a little quieter than the IBM). It is reassuringly weighty and feels like a solid quality product. I think I may go for the two-shot key-caps next...

I have been delighted with this keyboard - it is just what I wanted! The 'keyboard experience' has so declined over the last few decades. The feedback on this is really positive. It is solid and seems very well engineered. You do, of course, need to like 'clicky' keyborads and you may not be so popular if other people are working in the same room. A pleasure to use!

It's just brilliant, and indestructible. I'm still using now, every day (and also using a brown switch version for work - FKBN105MUKB2), and it's still as good as new (besides needing cleaning).
The feeling is great, and I will not use any other keyboard (well, besides my brown switch one) unless I have absolutely no choice.

Great keyboard. It was delivered promptly in very nice packaging. The build quality is very good it feels solid. The cherry blue switches are great for typing with a positive action, good click and the keys are shaped well. I do a lot of typing - this is a huge help.

I had wanted the wireless version but that wasn't available, so I bought this and a USB Switch Box so that I only need one keyboard for both my work laptop and my own PC. If you want a proper keyboard, rather than a chiclet spongy affair, I highly recommend this.

Replaced the same model with Cherry Red. Blue's are even better. Best keyboard I've ever had.

Very nice, solid keyboard. Might seem a tad pricy for a fairly basic keyboard, but the build quality and the feel of the keys makes it well worth the investment

I received the keyboard about a week ago and I immediately noticed the quality of its built and how satisfying is to use it, sadly after a while I found out that the backspace costar stabiliser was not lubed at all and as a result felt clunky and problematic.Later I discovered that the solution was just to apply some dielecric greese on it ,but I thought that shouldn't be a thing with such a keyboard so I will put 4 stars instead of 5.

I've had this keyboard for a few weeks now. I use it for work on my company laptop when I am at home. It's an absolute joy to use. If I knew I would be spending a day alone in the office I'd take it into work in the interest of productivity. However I got the Blue switch version, which is just fabulous to type on, thoroughly reassuring, but not very sociable. I grew up in the days when keyboards were all mechanical and gave you true feedback when used, and have seen the takeover of damp flesh, compromised quality keyboards over the last 30 years. This one is a blast from my past and an absolute joy to use. I love it.

After several months of using this keyboard, I can't imagine going back to one which doesn't use real switches. As advertised, it isn't quiet but it's not so loud as to present a problem. It's a joy to use and worth every penny.
The only way the product could be improved, in my opinion, would be to make it wireless.

I bought this keyboard 2 years ago and I've been using it every day and I love it. It is very solid and never ever moves. The typing is so comfortable (MX Brown) that I cannot use an other keyboard to work with! Actually I love it so much that I'm buying another one for home! Great product.

At last I have a real keyboard. It stays put on the desk and doesn't flex. My typing speed and accuracy has just got so much better. This is a beautifully made piece of equipment. And great customer service too.

Solid build, good feel, no gimmicks!

I bought this keyboard about 15 months ago and have held off giving my review until now so that it's worth something.

Simply put: I should have bought one of these keyboards many years ago, instead of wasting more money than it cost buying cheap ones which don't last. It's a joy to use for someone who, like other reviewers here, first used computers when real keyboards were the norm, rather than the exception. If you've never used a real keyboard, now's your chance. Treat yourself.

Lovely piece of kit. Great key feel and solid build. I type all day, every day, and this keyboard makes it a pleasure!

Fantastic keyboard, really solid, really nice to type on.

This is my 2nd Majestouch-2, the first was an MX Brown that I use at work, the 2nd is this MX Blue for home and is even nicer to type on, but I try and be a considerate colleague and not have blue switches in an open plan office!

The Keyboard Company have been excellent on both orders, good delivery options, great packaging and great communication, I will use them for all my keyboard needs!

Awesome quality. Even better than I had expected. Worth every penny.

It's clicky - and I really like it. Took a few hours to get used to the slightly different pitch to my old keyboard but I soon tuned in to it. It's also slightly deeper than I am used to but I don't notice that now either. I realised how good it is today after I had to use a different (but perfectly good) keyboard in the office and I really missed this one.
