After years with my CM Storm Quickfire Rapid keyboard I discovered Keyboard Co and immediately ordered this beautiful keyboard. The customer service was outstanding. I forgot to order the red ESC keycap I wanted and it was added to my order without any problems. Shipping was very fast from the UK to Germany. I really recommend everybody who's looking for mechanical keyboards to buy here at Keyboard Co.
The keyboard itself is, to use Ted's words, a high end keyboard of outstanding quality. Really like the keyboard and the keys (Space, Return, Backspace) I didn't like about my old keyboard are just as any other key on the Filco.

Apparently Filco Majestouch-2 keyboards have a characteristic to produce a pinging sound when typing. It happens because the sound of the spring in the switch is amplified by the metal plate.
A lot of other keyboards have it too but because the Filco is so well build (it's really nice) this effect is even more apparent. I'm guessing it's because it has less sound absorption.
I noticed this immediately when I got it. Decided it was just too much so I returned it.
I do live in a very quiet environment. So if you'll use at work or something then it might be ok.
I'm quite disappointed because otherwise the keyboard was perfect.

Jon, you are complaining about things which are completely natural to this keyboard.
If you want a quiet keyboard, I would generally say: Mechanical keyboards are not for you. Maybe you wanna try the new Cherry MX Silent switches.
The Filco Majestouch is a high end keyboard of outstanding quality. Can't go wrong with one of these.
