Filco Convertible 2 Tenkeyless MX Blue Click USA ASCII Keyboard

The keyboard is great, wireless connectivity works really well (with Macbook). It seems really well constructed and weighty which stops it moving around the desk.

The blue keys feel great, although my girlfriend does hate how loud they are. 5/5 would buy again.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, which I choose after a long research. I can't be more than happy with my choice. I was in doubt about cherry mx blue, but it's simple perfect the sound! This keyboard is very standard and classic in design, but with some extra cool features like bluetooth and usb cable combined, plus up to 5 device easy switchable, and is very solid construct. The price is affordable considering the other options.

And Filco is just between the best of this type of keyboard, you can't find something more, almost not in my research.

I love this keyboard.
Very sturdy and build with high quality materials.

The ABS caps are actually very good quality and after a week of using this I don't see any oil stains. Keycaps are not slippery at all.

It's pretty heavy, something like ~1kg.
When sitting on a desk it is completely rooted in place and does not bulge or bend even when hard pressed.

Bluetooth works perfectly with my Fedora and my iPad. And you can switch between devices on the fly.

I would recommend to buy a wrist pad as the keyboard is pretty tall and a wrist pad improves the experience a lot.

The wireless functionality using Bluetooth functionality works superbly, with no problems.

I chose this keyboard after a long research. It is my first mechanical keyboard, so I cannot really have a clear idea of how it compares to others. These are my feelings:

1. The keyboard gives the feeling of being incredibly solid, sturdy, heavy. It sits on top of my tabletop and doesn't move a millimiter during typing. The build quality seems excellent. I read that some people do not like the keycaps, but again, I can't really tell, I have no reference point.
2. The switches are really nice to press, I love the way it feels under my fingers.
3. The bluetooth interface works well, without lags. It is somewhat cumbersome to set up, but once you get used to it, it's quite easy.
4. I love the fact that they give you the possibility to switch Caps Lock and Ctrl, and even provide inverted keycaps for the purpose.

All in all, it is a fantastic keyboard and I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase.

Amazing keyboard. This is not the first time I buy from The Keyboard Company. Already own a full-size Filco wired keyboard with red switches for almost 10 years now. It is built like a tank just like this one. I am sure the Convertible 2 will serve me for a long time also.

Very impressed. The materials are way nicer than my old majestouch 2 wired version. I've only paired with one PC so far, but that is working brilliantly. It takes a couple of seconds of waking up after a reboot but after that it has been flawless - not a single missed, messed up or delayed keystroke. Seems very usable for gaming too - I really can't tell the difference between this and a wired kb.

This filco keyboard is superb it is even better than my old majetouch 1. Perfect for programming and general typing. It feels solid and precise. No problems pairing with windows 10 and mac computers using Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection is stable and there is no perceivable lag when typing. Only drawback is the price.



Keyboard Company shipped the item fast and staff is very helpful.
