Great keyboard, I bought it 5 years ago and have bought others since but nothing has really stood up to it since, just can't seem to switch off it. Never had double bounce issues, backlight looks great, I the wrist rest it comes with is superb, very comfortable and hardwaring.
If you're looking for something that won't let you down no matter how much you use it, and is solid and hardwaring (everyday for work and home use) look no further.

This is a nice keyboard. It feels very solid, and the keycaps are excellent. Having the little USB hub is suprisingly useful. I've got two computers that I occasionally switch between at my desk. By plugging my wireless mouse dongle into my keyboard hub, I only have to replug the keyboard cable when switching computers. That's better than having to replug the mouse as well, or even worse, confusingly having two mice on the table.
The keyboard comes with a decent wrist rest, which is handy.
I'm new to mechanical keyboards, and I'm still learning not to bottom out so much with Cherry MX Browns. But I'm getting there. Meanwhile, it's made me interested in other switches. I tried some Cherry MX Clears and found the tactile feedback better, making me much less likely to bottom out.

This is my second of these keyboards. I just cant bare to use any other mechanical after testing the last one bought by my employer for me a year ago. I do, however think that a range extention to orange key leds would be really good. This deserves the rating I gave it.

WOAH. I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD. It's so nice to type on, the brown switches feel beautiful and aren't very noisy at all. I don't really play games (not much on linux!), but I type a lot of emails and get into internet fights a lot, and this keyboard means I can avenge myself against more trolls than I would with an inferior membrane keyboard. The lighting is nice, although I don't really use any of the flashing features. I've got this and the Filco Majestouch2 and they're both equally as good.

Best keyboard I have used in over 30 years, always prefer mechanical keys. I am not a gamer so the side illuminations are not important to me. However I work in a low light environment and the back lit keys are essential. Nice heavy board that doesnt move around on the desktop. One of the usb ports is assigned to the mouse, which keeps cables to a minimum. I am very happy with the Blackbird, and would recommend it to anyone that requires a heavy robust keyboard.

First mech keyboard - initially i ignored a ten keyless design but i'm glad i went for this one. I don't do a lot of data entry and the extra desk space for mouse drawing tablet works well.
Typing is great, with enough feedback on the brown switches
I work in low light often so the backlit keys are really useful.
Cant fault the build quality, esp like the inclusion of double shot key caps.

Superb keyboard and the backlit keys are exactly what I need when using it with Photoshop. It replaced a Microsoft Natural keyboard which was to large and awkward to use keyboard shortcuts at times in Photoshop.
The mechanical keys are a joy to use too.

Great keyboard, very nice to type on. Love the backlighting and side lighting too. The inclusion of a wrist rest is nice. I have my wireless headset and wireless mouse usb dongles plugged in to the usb hub, which is also very useful.
I cannot fault it. It's as good, if not better than the filco majestouch 2 I had previously.
I will never go back to a non-mechanical keyboard!
